Public Services Associate, Youth Focus

The Public Service Associate serves as a model of customer service and support, along with bringing a service-centered approach to all aspects of the role. Public Services Associates act as the first step in our mission, providing patrons with an exceptional library experience.

Primary duties include:

• First point of contact for patron questions or inquiries.
• Assisting with youth programming.
• Locates, processes, and distributes library materials accurately and efficiently.
• Providing references and readers advisory to youth and families.

SALARY: $16.92/ hour

SCHEDULE: 21 hours per week working every third weekend

Sunday 1-5* (every third weekend)

Monday 9-1

Tuesday 9-1

Wednesday OFF

Thursday 9-1

Friday 9-6 OR every third Saturday 9-6
