“Ohio’s libraries continue to set the standard nationally, and this year’s award recipients are a powerful reminder of why that’s true,” said Michelle Francis, Executive Director of the OLC. “Despite funding cuts and rising community needs, these honorees have stepped up with vision, innovation, and a deep commitment to the communities they serve. Their work strengthens neighborhoods, supports lifelong learning, and opens doors to vital resources and opportunities.”
Award winners will be formally recognized during a special ceremony and luncheon at the OLC's 2025 Convention and Expo at the Huntington Convention Center in downtown Cleveland. All members are invited to attend the Awards and Honors Luncheon on Wed., November 19 at 11:30 a.m. to celebrate the accomplishments and contributions of this year’s awardees. Registration for this event will open in September.
Special thanks to the Awards and Honors Committee, whose dedicated members generously volunteer their time to diligently review nominations and select recipients.
